21 May 2019

On Thursday 23 May 2019 the Student Representative Council (SRC) is holding Blue Cupcake Day to raise funds to donate to Stewart House.
Stewart House does not receive funding from the government but relies on donations from individuals and organisations. It runs a large program that caters for children who may be suffering from ill health, or who are experiencing a period of sorrow or loss. Our school has supported this very worthy cause for many years.
To show our support for Stewart House students are asked to wear one item of blue clothing with their school uniform. Please note that hats and closed shoes, such as joggers, should also be worn.
The SRC will be selling cupcakes at recess on Thursday 23 May for 50 cents. The K-2 cupcake stall will be located outside the library while the Years 3-6 cupcake stall will be located under the COLA near Burns Bay building. Gluten free cupcake options will be available.
Although there will be some dietary options, we cannot guarantee variety or quantity. If you do not wish your child to buy cupcakes from the stall because of his/her allergies, please consider sending a special treat in your child’s lunchbox and write a note to the class teacher.
The SRC thanks you for your support of Stewart House.
