●      Sea celery grows up to 30cm to 50cm, spreading out up to 50cm in diameter.

●      The leaves start out light green and darken as they mature.

Uses

●      Sea celery can be used as a herb or a vegetable.

●      It is a traditional substitute for celery

Location and climate

●      It can be found on sandy beaches and salt marshes in Victoria, SA, and WA.

●      It tolerates frost, droughts, sandy soils, and salt.

Interesting facts

●      It has a unique flavour.

●      Sea celery attracts bees and insects.

●      Sea celery may have become infested with spider mites if you see white strands on it.

●      You harvest sea celery the same way you would harvest celery.
