In our Eco Learning Hub, the students have planted a number of native species along with different fruits, vegetables and succulents.
We have created a dedicated bush tucker garden alongside our pollinator path.
The pollinator path garden was planted by Year 2 after an incursion from the PlantingSeeds group which established the B&B Highway - Bed and Breakfasts for Birds, Bees, Butterflies and Biodiversity.
The bush tucker garden was planted by students in Year 4.
As part of the their learning, students were asked to research the different plants and find out about their uses and benefits. Plant labels were created with a QR code to enable students to share with visitors their interesting information and facts.
