Appearance

●       It can grow up to 2 metres tall.

●       It is 1 – 1.2 metres wide.

Uses

●       The common mint bush is edible and can be used in salads.

●       It was once used as a medical herb but is now a garnish used in cooking and some herbal teas.

●       The plant are also used for hedges, topiary, feature plants, screens and windbreaks.

Location and climate

●       Climate zone: sub-tropical, warm temperate, cool temperate, Mediterranean

●       It grows best in the sun.

Interesting facts

●       Bees love the pollen from these flowers.

●       It flowers in warm seasons such as spring and summer.

●       Family: Lamiaceae

●       You can dry the leaves out, so they last a long time.
