●       Pigface has a bright purple, daisy-like flower and a reddish-purple kind of fruit.

●       It grows 20cm in height and its cover is 2m.

●       The leaves are succulent and triangular shaped.

Uses

●       The flowers, fruit and leaves are edible.

●       The leaves can be used for burns or stings.

●       Europeans used the plant for an anti-scurvy treatment.

Location and climate

●       It grows on limestone cliffs and dunes.

●       It is found naturally in Western Australia

●       They are tolerant to drought.
