Welcome from our principal

Established in 1876, Lane Cove Public School has a long tradition of academic excellence and is proud of its reputation for providing a well-rounded, student centred education. The school encourages students to set goals and to take part in the wide range of learning opportunities and experiences on offer. The expectation is that each student will achieve their best.

As well as strong academic programs, the school offers an outstanding extra-curricular music program. The school also offers an extensive sports program and extra-curricular activities including debating, public speaking, dance, technology, environment studies, chess and choir. Chess, drama, Hebrew and Mandarin are also available as after school activities. Lane Cove Public School has a dedicated staff supported by strong partnerships with parents and the wider community.

Lane Cove Public School prides itself on being an inclusive learning environment, where no matter their background, students are known, challenged and supported to reach their full potential.
